The incident occurred on April 9. – After 8:00 a.m., the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Polkowice received a report about a roe deer tangled in a fencing mesh – reports Junior Captain Adrian Ziemiański, press officer of the Polkowice District Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
He adds: – After arriving at the scene, the firefighters secured the area and then carefully freed the animal from the fence.
He further explains:
The animal’s wounds were dressed, and the roe deer was protected from the cold with a rescue blanket.
The animal was then placed in a veterinarian’s care. This was another intervention by uniformed officers involving the rescue of an animal. Recently, we reported that firefighters came to the rescue of a pigeon that had become trapped.
