Municipal officials have issued an urgent appeal to residents:

The problem of illegally dumping waste is growing in the Nowogrodziec Municipality—municipal waste, parts from car dismantling, tyres and other waste in places not designated for this purpose.

They added: – This phenomenon has very serious consequences. Each cleanup of so-called “illegal dumps” generates high costs borne by the municipality—and in practice, by all residents.

Since the beginning of the year, the municipal office has been continuously monitoring the site in Wykroty. Officials: – Despite regular patrols and repeated cleanups of the area by Hydro-Tech, commissioned by the Nowogrodziec Municipality and Town, waste keeps appearing there again. Each such intervention means further significant expenditure from the public budget.

Despite the involvement of services and officials, the perpetrators continue to go unpunished.
