The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is an offer allowing passengers to use regional trains on all routes within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and on other selected sections. One ticket allows unlimited, unrestricted travel throughout the holiday weekend. This means that within a few days, passengers can not only visit family but also plan trips around Lower Silesia.

The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket costs PLN 59 and is valid from Friday, April 3, at 6:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 7, at 6:00 a.m. This means more than three days of unlimited and convenient travel throughout the entire voivodeship with one ticket and without stress, which is also beneficial given rising fuel prices.

A good time to travel

Spring weather encourages active recreation, and Lower Silesia offers an especially wide range of opportunities at this time of year. It is an ideal moment for walks along mountain trails in the Karkonosze or the Owl Mountains, cycling trips through the Barycz Valley or visits to health resorts. More and more people are also choosing short getaways to get to know particular places better. Wrocław, Wałbrzych, Legnica and Jelenia Góra attract visitors with their atmosphere, history and well-developed dining options.

For those who prefer a slower pace, the region offers numerous castles and palaces, walking routes and places ideal for a picnic or relaxing outdoors with the family. The Easter weekend is a good time to combine relaxation with discovering local attractions, without rushing and in the rhythm of spring.

The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is valid on all railway lines in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and on the following sections:

  • Studzianka – Leszno Górne – Żagań – Żary – Zasieki – Zasieki State Border,
  • Okrąglica – Iłowa Żagańska – Jankowa Żagańska – Żagań or Żary,
  • Czerna – Nowa Sól – Zielona Góra Główna,
  • Korzeńsko – Rawicz – Bojanowo – Zaborowice – Borszyn Wielki,
  • Cieszków – Zduny – Krotoszyn,
  • Bierutów – Wilków Namysłowski – Namysłów;
  • Oława – Lipki – Brzeg.

Tickets are accepted on trains operated by the following carriers:

  • České dráhy (ČD) on the Szklarska Poręba Górna – Harrachov section,
  • Deutsche Bahn (DB) on the Zasieki – Forst (Lausitz)/Baršć (Łužyca) section,
  • Die Länderbahn (DLB) on the Zgorzelec – Görlitz section,
  • GW Train Regio (GWTR) on the Sędzisław – Lubawka – Královec and Mieroszów – Meziměstí sections,
  • Koleje Wielkopolskie (KW) on the Rawicz – Bojanowo section,
  • Leo Express Tenders (LET) on the Międzylesie – Lichkov section.
