The “Traditional Easter Tables” event in Bolesławiec County attracted not only enthusiasts of regional cuisine on March 28, but also a large group of local VIPs. The presence of representatives of local governments and institutions underscored the importance of the gathering.
Bolesławiec County was represented by: starost Tomasz Gabrysiak, deputy starost Patryk Hałka, county board member Alina Zarembecka and county secretary Sylwia Chruszcz. The voivodeship government was represented by former marshal Cezary Przybylski.
The heads of municipalities were also present: Warta Bolesławiecka commune head Mirosław Haniszewski, Gromadka commune head Ryszard Kawka, Bolesławiec commune head Andrzej Janiec and the mayor of Nowogrodziec Joanna Świder. Their presence demonstrated support for cultural and social initiatives carried out in the county.
The invited guests also included representatives of various communities – entrepreneur Jan Cołokidzi, renowned surgeon Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk, director of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec commune Adam Rymaszewski and director of the Public Library in Kruszyn Grażyna Wężyk.
The guests had the opportunity not only to view the prepared tables, but also to sample traditional Easter dishes – from sour rye soup and white sausage to homemade baked goods and regional specialities.
