On Saturday morning, just before the Easter holidays, a dispute broke out in the car park at the Dino store. According to a reader, some of the cars parked there overnight were blocked in, making it impossible for them to leave.

– There has been a row since morning. The girls from Dino blocked in those who park there overnight. They themselves had nowhere to park in the morning – our reader reported.

Residents’ reports indicate that the problem is not new. The car park at the store, intended primarily for customers, is regularly occupied by nearby residents who leave their cars there overnight. As a result, in the morning and during the day, especially during periods of increased shopping activity, there are not enough spaces for customers.

Saturday’s situation was particularly noticeable because of the pre-holiday traffic. Many residents came to shop, but according to reports, finding a free parking space was impossible.

It is not known whether the vehicles were blocked deliberately or whether this resulted from a lack of spaces and attempts to find somewhere to park. Police intervened at the scene.

The problem of people who are not customers using car parks at stores is also known in other parts of the city. In such cases, property managers sometimes introduce restrictions, such as time limits or parking-control systems.

For now, it is not known whether similar solutions are planned at this location. However, Saturday morning’s situation shows that parking organization in this part of the city remains unresolved and may recur, particularly during periods of increased traffic.
