On Wednesday (6 July), police officers from Bolesławiec detained four men from Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec counties. The men are suspected of stealing 180 litres of diesel fuel from a tanker located on the grounds of a railway station. The entire group was detained as they attempted to drive away with the stolen fuel. Two of those detained are men aged 21 and 22. They are suspected of stealing diesel fuel from the tanker. The other two are suspected of handling stolen goods. The recovered fuel, worth nearly PLN 900, was handed over to its owner. Police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the case. The detained men face up to five years in prison.
