A colourful and safe zone for children up to six years old has been created next to the old playground. New spring riders, a swing, a disc carousel, a rope pyramid and a slide have been installed in the fenced area. The ground beneath the equipment has been covered with white sand.
Near the play area for the youngest children, there is also a lawn for “sunbathing” available to all users of the playground on Łukasiewicza Street. A good place for family picnics.
The playground on Łukasiewicza Street has also been entered in the “100 playgrounds for Nivea’s 100th anniversary” competition. To mark its 100th anniversary, the cosmetics company will build 100 playgrounds throughout Poland. You should vote for the city playground on the Nivea website. The playground that receives the most points will be newly equipped and arranged. Local communities from all over Poland are voting for playgrounds in their towns.
