On Saturday, March 28, at 11:00 a.m., the “Traditional Easter Tables” event took place at the Community Hall in Bożejowice, bringing together representatives of Women’s Rural Associations from Bolesławiec County and the surrounding area.
Traditional Easter dishes prepared according to local recipes were presented during the gathering, along with handmade holiday decorations. The event took the form of a competition—the jury evaluated both the Easter tables and the palms.
As Beata Widera reported, the following places were awarded in the traditional Easter table competition:
- 1st place went to KGW Stare Jaroszowice
- 2nd place – KGW Ocice,
- 3rd place – KGW Kraszowice.
The competition for the most beautiful Easter palm was also decided. In this category:
- 1st place went to KGW Bolesławice,
- 2nd place – KGW Raciborowice,
- 3rd place – KGW Modła-Patoka.
The event provided an opportunity for residents to come together and maintain local traditions associated with Easter. The organizers emphasized the importance of Women’s Rural Associations in preserving the region’s culinary and cultural heritage.
