The Midsummer Festival was held on Sunday, June 26, in Kruszyn. The event was opened by village head Henryk Ostrowski and councillor Wojciech Weselak. The performers included: female vocalists from Kraszowice (students of Bronisław Górecki), Eliza Laudani, Magdalena Opała and Jakub Kulpa, a rock band from Żeliszów and Joel Beucher, a Frenchman who has lived in Kruszyn for many years.
Visitors could also watch a defensive-tactical combat demonstration performed by children from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Okmiany, students of Dariusz Panuszewski. There was also a performance by the Tierra Flamenca Elżbieta Eisenblätter dance school.
The festival was organized by: village head Henryk Ostrowski, the Village Council, councillor Wojciech Weselak, the Sports Club from Kruszyn and the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
