The reconstruction of the voivodeship road no. 297 is back on the agenda. As reported by the lwowecki.info newspaper:
The scope of the project includes not only replacing the road surface, but also strengthening the road structure to load-bearing parameters suitable for intensive traffic, reconstructing intersections, modernizing engineering structures, building a drainage system and constructing new infrastructure elements to improve road-user safety.
When will the next works begin?
The Lwówek outlet reports: – From 23 March 2026, the section of voivodeship road no. 297 between the towns of Wojciechów and Zalesie will be completely closed to traffic. This restriction is connected with the planned construction of road culverts as part of the route reconstruction.
It adds: – The expected road closure period on this section is nineteen days, meaning it is expected to last until 10 April 2026. For the duration of the closure, arrangements have been introduced to enable access to properties and businesses located along the road.
How will it be possible to get there?
“Consequently, access to properties and businesses in Wojciechów and Golejów will be provided from the direction of Lwówek Śląski and Lubomierz, while access to properties and businesses in Zalesie will be provided via DW 30 from the direction of Gryfów and Jelenia Góra and along a section of DW297,” the contractor carrying out the works informs.
When will the works be completed?
The reconstruction of voivodeship road 297 on the Pasiecznik–Lwówek Śląski section is expected to continue until June 2028.
