Update
Nowogrodziec firefighters on the operation:
(...) at 7:54 p.m., responding urgently with two fire engines 🚒🚒 to a fire 🔥 involving a truck in the maneuvering yard of the Surmin Kaolin plant in Nowogrodziec. Upon arrival, we found a fire in the engine compartment of the tractor unit and immediately applied a heavy foam stream in attack 💦
Thanks to the quick response of the driver and employees of the Surmin Kaolin plant, who undertook firefighting efforts using dry-powder extinguishers 🧯, they contained the fire, which did not spread beyond the engine compartment before our unit arrived.
Although the fire caused losses, they could have been several times greater without their response and appropriate conduct 🏆
The incident occurred on March 10. Just before 8:00 p.m., firefighters from Zebrzydowa were dispatched to a truck fire in Nowogrodziec.
The danger was eliminated.
Forces and resources:
