25 February 2026  Bolesławiec Municipality announced the selection of the most advantageous offer in a procedure concerning the purchase of a passenger car for the Municipal Office. The procedure was conducted as a request for quotations for an amount below PLN 170,000.

The offer submitted by HONGQI Autotrade sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, was selected. The vehicle price is PLN 163,300 gross .

The document was signed by Bolesławiec Municipality head Andrzej Janiec.

One offer was submitted in the procedure and received 100 points in the evaluation criterion. The justification stated that the contractor met the conditions specified in the request and that the price was within the funds planned by the municipality.

What equipment will the new SUV have?

The technical specification shows that the office will have a D-segment vehicle at least 4.5 metres long, with a wheelbase of at least 2.7 metres. The car is to be brand new (model year 2025 or 2026), with a petrol engine producing between 200 and 250 hp and an automatic transmission.

The required equipment includes:

Safety and driver-assistance systems:

  • 360-degree camera,
  • front and rear parking sensors,
  • forward collision warning system (FCW),
  • hill descent control (HDC),
  • tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS),
  • ABS, ESP, EBD, EBA, TCS,
  • a complete set of airbags with side curtains,
  • Auto Hold function.

Comfort and interior equipment:

  • at least a 12-inch touchscreen,
  • digital instrument cluster,
  • head-up display (HUD),
  • dual-zone automatic climate control with a filter and air ioniser,
  • keyless engine start,
  • power-operated tailgate,
  • heated and ventilated front seats,
  • electrically adjustable driver’s seat,
  • leather or leather-and-Alcantara upholstery,
  • premium sound system with at least 10 speakers,
  • LED ambient lighting.

Lighting and bodywork:

  • LED headlights,
  • LED daytime running lights,
  • cornering lights,
  • “follow me home” function,
  • wheels at least 20 inches in diameter.

Warranty and servicing

The car is to be covered by a warranty of at least 36 months or up to 150,000 km. Warranty servicing must be available in Poland, no more than 200 km from the office’s headquarters.

The new car will be used to carry out the municipality’s official duties. The purchase was financed from budget funds allocated for this purpose.
