Why do the school authorities want to change the name?
The draft resolution explains the matter as follows:
In the statement of reasons for the request to change ZSB’s name, the Director indicated that over the past twenty years the school’s educational offer had changed due to the introduction of training in other occupations.
It further specifies: – The leading fields of education at the schools comprising ZSB (Technical Secondary School No. 2 in Bolesławiec and First-Degree Vocational School No. 2 in Bolesławiec) are no longer occupations belonging exclusively to the construction industry, but also: surveying technician, landscape architecture technician, forestry technician, and in connection with recruitment for the 2026/2027 school year, recruitment will be held for the field of interior design technician.
What will the school’s new name be?
The document states: – The requested name, Technological and Architectural Schools Complex in Bolesławiec, is consistent with the expectations of the communities of the schools comprising it and with the fields of education offered at those schools.
When will ZSB become ZSTA?
