Yesterday, Bolesławiec City Council adopted a resolution amending the resolution on adopting the “Bolesławiec Resident Card” Programme. The new document states:

Every resident of the city of Bolesławiec who:
1) pays personal income tax or agricultural tax arising from running a farm to the Tax Office in Bolesławiec and declares in their tax return that their permanent place of residence is the city of Bolesławiec, or
2) is an unemployed person registered with the District Labour Office in Bolesławiec and lives within the city of Bolesławiec, or
3) receives a permanent allowance from the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec, and
4) pays a fee to the Municipality of Bolesławiec for municipal waste management in respect of the property where they reside.

The last provision is new. In practice, the Bolesławiec Resident Card will be available to a person listed in the system as someone who pays for waste collection.

The new regulations enter into force on 1 May this year.
