The Family Festival in Dobra (Bolesławiec Rural Commune) took place on Sunday, 19 June. The performers on stage included students of the State Music School in Bolesławiec (Milena Zawrotniak, Magda Ganowska, Krzysztof Kozicki, Dominik Bezkorowajny, Celestyna Koszak, Klaudiusz Bezkorowajny, Jakub Wędzina, Kamila Chrobot and Anita Kaczmarek), a dance group led by Agnieszka Michalczuk from Dobra, and the Artistic Circle from Brzeźnik (under the guidance of Krystyna Grela). Folk enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the following performed: the Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble “Jutrzenka” and the group Leśne Nastroje from Dobra.
There was no shortage of sporting excitement either. An amateur teams’ basketball tournament was held. The festival ended with a dance party. The event was organized by the Village Council (headed by Dobra village head Franciszek Bachór), the Parish Council, the Rural Housewives’ Circle and the Municipal Culture and Sport Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
