The City of Bolesławiec is planning to merge primary schools with preschools. The reason? A demographic decline.
At present—in both preschools and schools—staff meetings are being held to discuss these matters, which is why the Bolesławiec municipal office does not intend to provide details of the issue for now. (The point is for teachers to learn about the decision directly, rather than from the media.)
The arrangements still concern two facilities. Full information about the mergers is expected to be released next Monday.
The municipal office reassures residents: this is not closure, but a change in structure. Only the names of the facilities will change. They will now be SCHOOL COMPLEXES.
We will certainly return to this subject.
