The incident occurred on February 6 in the evening. As a reader informed us:
(...) at around 7:00 p.m., Kaufland was evacuated. People were told to leave their baskets and exit the store.
He added:
People went outside, stood there for a few minutes and returned inside. The fire service was on site.
The store was inspected, and the uniformed officers determined that there was no fire hazard. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The alarm turned out to be false. This was not the first incident of this kind at the facility. We reported on a similar operation in the autumn of last year in the article Fire service operation at Kaufland. What happened?
