The exhibition features photographs, documents and memorabilia connected with an event held 25 years ago. Many Bolesławiec residents still remember the emotions accompanying the Televised City Tournament Bolesławiec-Sanok. It was an event of national significance, during which residents demonstrated that they were an integrated local community capable of having a wonderful time and competing fairly.

The City Tournament took the form of competitions held simultaneously in Bolesławiec and Sanok. Teams of hosts and guests participated in individual events. They included families who had registered in advance, delegations from workplaces and representatives of the local authorities.

Among the numerous events, Bolesławiec residents remembered races involving trucks with containers of water and juice placed on their bonnets. The vehicles had to travel along a designated route while spilling as little liquid as possible. Families also competed during the tournament, carrying out various tasks—for example, breaking a flower box. Residents also remembered an event involving the transfer of specified objects with a crane and the painting of ceramic jugs.

Bolesławiec won the Televised City Tournament, which was an extraordinary event for the residents. Participants received valuable prizes, especially by the standards of the time. They also had the unique opportunity to listen to interesting performances and integrate with other residents. Taking part in the Tournament brought publicity to the city, and the fact that it was shown on nationwide television was a wonderful form of promotion for it.
