As Bolesławiec Municipality reports:
Another road investment is beginning in Bolesławiec Municipality. Residents of Kruszyn and Łaziska, whose homes are located near newly emerging housing estates, will be able to safely enter traffic on the national, provincial and county roads.
And explains:
A completely new asphalt roadway, 1,198 metres long and 5.5 metres wide, will be built in place of the existing dirt road. This change means not only greater convenience but, above all, a strategic connection—the new route will provide safe and smooth access to national road No. 94, provincial road No. 297 and county road No. 2292D. Importantly, this section will serve as a local bypass, allowing drivers to avoid the centres of both localities and providing a key detour in emergency situations on the main routes.
And adds:
Provision has also been made for vulnerable road users, who will gain 1,172 metres of safe shared cycle and pedestrian path connecting to the existing network of paths, as well as an additional 97 metres of dedicated pavement. New lighting installed along a 520-metre section will ensure safety after dark, while four raised pedestrian crossings will be built at critical points. The project also includes the construction of safe bus bays that will not impede the smooth flow of traffic.
How much will it cost?
Municipality: – The entire impressive transformation will cost PLN 3,289,084.01.
