Police investigators from the District Police Headquarters in Lubin received reports, at short intervals, concerning damage to the façades of two buildings and two passenger vehicles. – At the scene, officers found painted façades bearing, among other things, various types of inscriptions and signs. They also found damaged vehicles that had been scratched on every side with an unidentified tool – reports asp. szt. Police investigators detained a woman suspected of these crimes, who turned out to be a 49-year-old resident of Lubin. She was taken to a police cell.
Investigators charged the woman with property damage. The preliminary estimate of the losses caused by her actions is nearly PLN 60,000. The court will decide the fate of the 49-year-old.
How did the suspect explain herself?
Spokeswoman: – The woman cited the artistic vision she had and claimed that, in her view, the buildings definitely looked better after being painted by her. As for the scratched vehicles, she stated that the damage she caused did not make the cars inoperable. “They are still fit to drive, after all…”
