20 January 2026 at the headquarters of the Powiatowy Urząd Pracy in Bolesławiec, a session of the Powiatowa Rada Rynku Pracy was held. The meeting was of particular importance as it was connected with the end of one term and the beginning of a new one for 2026–2029.
At the beginning of the proceedings, Starosta Bolesławiecki Tomasz Gabrysiak presented 🤝 acknowledgements to the members of the outgoing Council, thanking them for their cooperation to date and their commitment to the local labour market. The Starosta then ceremonially presented 📜 appointments to the new members of the Powiatowa Rada Rynku Pracy, who will serve during the 2026–2029 term.
The next item on the agenda was 🗳️ the election of the chairman of the Powiatowa Rada Rynku Pracy. By decision of the Council members, the position was taken by Mirosław Haniszewski – Wójt Gminy Warta Bolesławiecka 👏.
During the proceedings, the Council adopted ✔️ a resolution on giving its opinion on the selection of forms of assistance for unemployed people and other eligible persons, implemented using Labour Fund resources allocated to the county’s local government for 2026.
The meeting continued with 📊 a presentation of information about the current labour market situation in Bolesławiec County, including, among other things, the unemployment level and planned measures supporting residents’ professional activation. The session concluded with 📝 a discussion of miscellaneous matters and current issues related to the functioning of the labour market in the region.
