Update
As established by the Bolesławiec police, the incident occurred through no fault of the driver, a resident of Lubuskie. Officers seized the registration certificates for both the truck and the trailer.
The incident occurred on 20 January, before noon. As we established, the truck trailer became detached, damaging a streetlamp and a road sign. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The road was impassable for over an hour. It was unblocked before 1:00 p.m.
Firefighters from the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, using lifting equipment, lifted the trailer, which made it possible to reconnect it to the tractor unit.
The operation lasted over an hour and ended successfully. The truck and trailer left the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
