On 14 January 2026 the construction of the County Headquarters with a Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec, at Ekonomiczna Street, was visited by Brig. Gen. Marek Hajduk, Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław. Bolesławiec uniformed service officers: – During the visit, in the presence of the County Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Senior Brig. Andrzej Śliwowski, the results of the work completed
in 2025 were reviewed, with the enclosed shell stage of construction completed.
They add: – The inspection also provided an opportunity to discuss the continuation of the project and its further financing under the funds provided for by the Act of 21 November 2025 on establishing the “Modernization Programme for the Police, Border Guard, State Fire Service and State Protection Service”.
And they sum up: – The new facility will improve the working conditions of State Fire Service firefighters, provide training facilities for members of Volunteer Fire Service units in Bolesławiec County, and enable the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service to carry out new tasks related to civil protection and civil defence.
