ROMAN’S CROWN
A painful and extraordinary tidings reached my ears.
This news concerns Roman’s crown and reign.
My head bowed sadly toward the ground.
Alas… The people are losing their “King” and Mayor.
The people are aggrieved. The people are abandoned.
Roman renounces the crown.
How can one so cruelly extinguish the people’s light?
To whom will the comrades now begin to curry favor?
Do not grieve, my People; your tears are not needed.
We have already made sure that the successor will be gracious and will not dig into our past.
