Firefighters from Warta Bolesławiecka summed up their activities from last year:
The year 2025 was a period of intensive and responsible service for the Volunteer Fire Department in Warta Bolesławiecka, dedicated to the safety of local residents.
Our firefighters responded to 144 calls in total, including:
- 63 fires,
- 61 local hazards,
- 9 false alarms.

Last year, the firefighters of the Warta Bolesławiecka Volunteer Fire Department actively improved their qualifications by taking part in numerous exercises and training sessions organized by the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec. The unit said: – Particular attention was given to training for drone operators and training in search operations for missing persons, which significantly increased our operational capabilities.
New firefighters
Two new firefighters joined the ranks of the Warta Bolesławiecka Volunteer Fire Department. They have completed the necessary training and are now ready to actively participate in rescue operations.
The year 2025 also brought a significant strengthening of the unit’s technical resources. The firefighters:
Thanks to the support of the Mayor of the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality and other institutions and individuals, the Volunteer Fire Department acquired, among other things:
a Renault Master vehicle for search operations involving missing persons,
a DJI Matrice 4TD drone with a thermal imaging camera,
as well as other specialist equipment necessary to provide effective assistance.

Thanks to the donation of 1.5% of 2024 tax to support our unit’s activities, we raised PLN 3,725, which was allocated to the further development and expansion of the Volunteer Fire Department’s equipment.
