The incident occurred on Sunday at around 7:00 p.m. in Suszki, on the road from Bolesławiec towards Lwówek Śląski. A black Peugeot van collided with a red Honda. The Honda was joining the traffic. The Peugeot was travelling towards Bolesławiec. As a result of the collision, both cars left the road and fell down an embankment. A woman and her son died at the scene. Both were travelling in the Honda. The third person in the Honda, the driver, was taken to hospital and underwent surgery. He died several hours later. The Peugeot driver did not suffer serious injuries, but was detained for observation.
