The Municipal Sports Day was held on Tuesday, 24 May, on the grounds of the Primary School in Trzebień. The competition was opened by Andrzej Dutkowski, head of Bolesławiec Rural Municipality, and Beata Sasak, headmistress of the Trzebień primary school. The winners in the individual events were:
- Michał Pielichaty from Ocice and Barbara Busłowicz from Brzeźnik – long jump
- Kamil Krysa from Bożejowice and Zuzanna Bysiec from Trzebień – shot put
- Kamil Biegała from Kruszyn and Natalia Regińska from Trzebień – 60-metre race
In the boys’ basketball tournament, the players from Kruszyn proved the best. The team from Dąbrowa came second, while the hosts’ team finished third. In the girls’ handball competition, the hosts’ team won, defeating the team from Brzeźnik in the final. The representation of the Primary School in Żeliszów came third.
In the football competition, first place went to the team from Kruszyn. The players from Bożejowice came second, and those from Trzebień third. In the girls’ two fires tournament, the top place on the podium went to pupils from the Primary School in Kraśnik Dolny. The team from Dąbrowa came second, while the team from Brzeźnik finished third.
Medals, certificates and prizes were presented to the best competitors by Janusz Cieśla, head of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, and Beata Sasak. The competition was organized by the Primary School in Trzebień and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec.
