The incident occurred on November 26 at around 8:00 a.m. The elevator in the high-rise building at 38a Jana Pawła II Street was blocked, and a homeless man, probably under the influence of alcohol, was inside. His legs were positioned in such a way that they prevented the doors from opening. The situation made it impossible for the Medical RESCUE team to transport another patient who was on the 10th floor.

Firefighters and police were called to the scene. The services began working to open the elevator and enable the medical team to carry out the transport efficiently.

The services’ intervention lasted several minutes. After the blocked elevator was opened, the paramedics were able to continue their work. There is no information that anyone suffered any harm as a result of the incident.
