Yesterday, officers from Bolesławiec detained two drivers who committed road traffic offenses:

  • In the morning, officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn detained an intoxicated driver. The 34-year-old resident of Gromadka municipality was driving a passenger vehicle with 1.3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
  • In the evening, a traffic patrol stopped a van on the A4 motorway. The reason? Exceeding the speed limit. The vehicle was driven by a 40-year-old resident of Podlaskie Voivodeship, who had been subject to a driving ban issued by the District Court in Białystok since October 2025.

Both drivers will now face court proceedings for the offenses they committed.

Police remind drivers that operating a vehicle despite a court-imposed driving ban and driving while intoxicated are offenses punishable by severe penalties and, above all, pose a threat to the lives and health of other road users.
