It is the beginning of November, yet edible mushrooms are still growing in the forests near Bolesławiec, and there are quite a lot of them. If you are lucky, you may come across brown boletes, variegated boletes (pictured above), or saffron milk caps.
More experienced mushroom pickers can look for funnel chanterelles (trumpet chanterelles), late funnel caps, or dark honey fungus.
However, let us remember the basic rule: you should collect only those mushrooms that you know and are certain are edible.
