Soldierly Remembrance – Our Duty
Soldierly remembrance is not only about remembering those who fell on the battlefield. It is also a tribute to everyone who served alongside us – deceased soldiers, employees and friends of the military. They helped shape the history of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and contributed to its strength and traditions. Nurturing the memory of them, their service and dedication is our unchanging duty and an expression of soldierly brotherhood.
A delegation of the 23rd Artillery Regiment lit candles and paid tribute at the graves of those who have passed away. With particular emotion, we remember our former commander, Col. (ret.) Krzysztof Malankiewicz, who died this year – a wonderful officer, commander and man who will remain in our memory forever.
