Although both recognition ceremonies had already taken place in September—during the Euroregion Nysa Award competition gala in Jelenia Góra and during the ZHP celebration at the Bolesławiec market square (when the award was accepted by the deputy mayor)—the councillors decided to honour Mayor Piotr Roman once again at the beginning of the October city council session.
What were the distinctions?
- On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of scouting in Lower Silesia—a Medal of the Lower Silesian Scout Eagle, an honorary distinction,
- During the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Award competition gala in Jelenia Góra—an award in the “Personality for commitment to activities benefiting the Euroregion” category.
