The National Youth Olympiad in Indoor Sports was held from April 29 to May 2 in Augustów (Podlaskie Voivodeship). In the bridge tournament, our region was represented by Mateusz Bieńkowski and Dawid Permus, players from the Bolesławiec Bridge Club and students of I Liceum Ogólnokształcące, as well as Piotr Marcinowski and Sammy Bałdysz (AZS Wrocław University of Technology). Eighteen teams qualified for the OOM finals. The team including our bridge players proved to be the best.
Winning the gold medal at the OOM is the greatest achievement in the history of the club for BKB’s youth players. Our gold medalists are coached by Roland Lippik and Sławomir Zimniak.
