At the tournament, teams from across the country competed, and our players ranked among the national elite. The team competed under the name BKB Bolesławiec SP nr 4, representing the club, the City of Ceramics, and our “Czwórka”.

As our Reader informed us, this was an exceptional trip for the young bridge players. The boys from class 2B left for the championships at 7:45 a.m., arrived at their accommodation in the afternoon, and began competing at the tables in the evening.

For the 8- and 9-year-olds, this was not only a sporting test but also their first independent trip under the supervision of a coach. Despite the stress and demanding competition format, they performed excellently.

The championships were held in Tęgoborze and brought together the best young bridge players from across Poland. A place among the country’s top ten is an achievement worthy of recognition.

The success shows that not only traditional sports are developing in Bolesławiec. Young athletes in intellectual sports, which require concentration, logical thinking, and teamwork, are also increasingly giving the city reasons to be proud.

The city’s residents can certainly be proud of the attitude shown by their representatives. Congratulations to the entire team and the coaches.
