As reported by officers from Bolesławiec:
A woman whose image was published in connection with a reported shoplifting incident came to the Bolesławiec Police unit. The suspect committed the offence at one of Bolesławiec’s drugstores. The 24-year-old, who lives in Lower Silesia, stole various products worth nearly PLN 1,300 in total. Publishing her image helped establish her identity.
They added:
The woman confessed to the act of which she was accused and voluntarily submitted to the penalty.
Let us recall. On 8 September, we reported that officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters were carrying out activities in connection with a shoplifting case that took place at the beginning of the summer holidays in Bolesławiec. The Headquarters reported on the incident:
After entering the drugstore, the woman approached a shelf and put several items into a shopping basket. She then walked around the store and transferred the items to her shoulder bag. She also took other products directly from the shelves and put them in her bag. After about half an hour, she paid for one product and left the store. In total, she stole goods worth nearly PLN 1,300.
