Bolesławiec County has completed renovation work on bridge structure JNI31001013, located along county road no. 2321D on Mostowa Street in Bolesławiec. The project was carried out using a grant from the special-purpose reserve for removing the effects of natural disasters. The investment cost PLN 105,103.50.

The renovation primarily involved removing flood damage and restoring the proper functioning of the bridge structure and its surroundings.

As part of the project:

  • Flood-eroded embankments and ground surfaces around the supports were replenished with permeable, non-cohesive soil.
  • The humus layer was restored in green areas, which were then seeded with grass.
  • The damaged mineral surface of the walking path on the right bank of the river was restored along a section approximately 50 metres long.
  • Anti-corrosion coatings were replenished on the lower parts of the bridge supports, and a three-layer bituminous insulation system was applied.
  • The bearing shelves and steel bearings were cleaned of rubbish carried in by the flood.
  • The bridge drains were cleared and cleaned.
  • Missing drainage collectors were reconstructed, along with connectors and clamps.
  • Stone reinforcements were installed beneath the collector outlets.

The renovation not only improved the safety of the bridge structure but also tidied up the area around the facility, enhancing the appearance of the site.
