A report concerning a theft at one of the stores in the city was received by the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – A patrol was immediately sent to the scene. When the officers arrived, it turned out that a 36-year-old resident of Lwówek County had stolen cosmetics and jewelry worth more than 20 zlotys – reports junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the Lwówek police unit.
It turned out that the woman was also carrying methamphetamine.
The 36-year-old was detained and taken to the police headquarters.
– However, the intervention did not end there – the spokesperson emphasizes. – Criminal Division officers carried out further activities at the 36-year-old’s place of residence. There, they uncovered the illegal consumption of electricity. This fact was confirmed by employees of the energy company.
Theft is punishable by up to five years in prison.
