Attendance exceeded the organizers’ wildest expectations! Conversations, laughter and aromas created a unique atmosphere in which visitors could, if only for a moment, feel as though they were at a Balkan feast. The Folk House filled with aromas impossible to mistake for those of any other region of Europe. Guests could sample traditional čorba, excellent pečenica and crispy pita—dishes that reign on southern tables.
In the evening, a true musical fiesta began. “Lijevče” from Razboj performed on stage, along with the “Gościszowianki” folk group. Their performances swept the audience not only into applause but also into dancing together. It was a unique opportunity not only to try delicious flavors but also to surrender to southern rhythms.
