Ensuring public safety is a priority for every country. In response to contemporary challenges and threats, the Ministry of National Defence has launched an initiative aimed at strengthening citizens’ awareness and resilience. As part of this project, every Polish family will be sent the “Safety Guide”.

As announced by the Ministry of National Defence, the printed version of the “Safety Guide” is to reach every Polish household. Distribution is expected to cover approximately 14 million families.

What does the “Safety Guide” contain?

The publication is intended to prepare Poles for various crisis scenarios. The guide covers topics such as:

  • Cyberattacks and disinformation: It explains how to protect your data and recognize false information,
  • Natural disasters: It offers guidance on how to respond to floods, fires and other natural disasters,
  • Military situations: It contains practical advice in the event of a conflict,
  • Infrastructure crises: It explains what to do in the event of power, water or communications network failures.

The aim of this government initiative is to increase individual safety and build the community, mutual trust and solidarity that are crucial in the face of global challenges. The project is intended to strengthen the sense of security and prepare society for every eventuality.
