The Prime Minister says that the deficit has decreased, that things are going well, that income is rising and that unemployment has fallen. Meanwhile, the President says something else: that the Prime Minister is lying, that the country is still in debt. And we have two truths.

What is this all about? And how is a conscious citizen supposed to feel?

I think it is better to be unaware and blindly trust either Republika TV, TVN or some other station than to think rationally. Is the country falling into ruin or growing into a powerhouse? Nobody knows, because everyone can say whatever they want. Even the most important people in the country face no consequences for it.

All the more so because they accuse each other of theft, yet nobody goes to prison. They break the Constitution and universal rights, while we, as a society, end up looking like useful idiots.

This is the dumbing-down of society. Society itself does not know what to make of it. The easiest thing is to recognize the divinity of one’s chosen politician and trust them blindly—even though the politician is making a fool of themselves.

What is more, we do not even have to choose politicians. They choose themselves. We saw how politicians reached an agreement among themselves and who won the election without observing any democratic standards in universal elections.

In the words of the street, then: they ignored us—we took a walk to the ballot boxes, while a huge army of people took money to oversee the elections.

Now it would be appropriate for that army of people who secured the elections to participate somehow in the electoral commissions. If we want to call ourselves a state governed by the rule of law, someone should go to prison. Above all, our golden Parliament, which exists there only for itself, should pass a law on public lying and define the criteria for how a politician or official should behave.

I can prove that lying is widespread and will lead us to a situation where one neighbor will be fighting another with pitchforks. All because one of them has recognized the divinity of some politician and firmly believes that their politician is telling the truth.
