As we previously reported, the city did not receive funding from the voivodeship for the construction of a new bridge, connecting Gdańska Street with Spacerowa Street. For now, a temporary bridge is to be built over the Bóbr, near the so-called small waterfall (a damaged weir), closer to Rajska Street.
The temporary bridge in the DMS 65 technology is to be built by the military. Its construction is expected to take 2 days. The temporary bridge is to be 5 metres wide.
The location for the temporary bridge was not chosen by chance. Below the damaged weir visible in the photograph, the river is at its narrowest.
