The incident occurred on August 23 in the town of Wojcieszów. At 2:00 p.m., the duty officer at the command post of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Złotoryja received a report that a passenger vehicle had been left hanging on a bridge over the Kaczawa River.
Officials: – The driver left the car before the emergency services arrived.
They added: – The tasks of the crews present at the scene involved disconnecting the vehicle’s battery, stabilizing it and then safely pulling it onto the roadway using a winch. During the operation, traffic on the provincial road moved along one lane.
Fortunately, no one suffered anything serious. Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
