The Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters was notified of another case of online fraud:
According to the officers’ findings, a Bolesławiec resident fell victim to a criminal who, posing as an investment adviser, misled him about the actual possibility of helping him invest his money.
Acting at short intervals, the perpetrator convinced the victim that the proposed investments would generate profits. In this way, he persuaded him to make transfers to the indicated bank accounts. The total amount lost by the Bolesławiec resident was more than PLN 57,000.
Activities aimed at establishing the perpetrator’s identity and recovering the lost funds are ongoing.

We remind you that no legally operating investment company requires clients to deposit large sums without signing an agreement and completing full verification. In case of doubt, it is advisable to consult family or friends or seek advice from financial institutions.
