According to findings by Bolesławiec police officers, the person responsible for the crash on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec was a 63-year-old woman driving an Opel, who suddenly moved into the opposite lane. The result? A collision with a Mercedes driven by a 72-year-old resident of Żagań County.
The woman driving the Opel suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by an air ambulance helicopter.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
