The military is preparing to carry out a major project in the Pstrąże area. It involves the reconstruction of a railway bridge over the Bóbr River, carrying the railway line from Leszno Górne station to the southern part of the Żagań–Świętoszów training ground.
The investor is the Regional Infrastructure Board in Zielona Góra. The bids were opened on 31 July 2025. A total of 16 proposals were submitted by companies from across Poland. The lowest bid—amounting to PLN 32,662,958.41 gross—was submitted by Nowak-Mosty of Dąbrowa Górnicza. The company is already carrying out a contract for the Bolesławiec County Office to build access roads to the camps in Trzebień and Pstrąże, as well as two road bridges over the Bóbr River.
Two projects will be carried out simultaneously in the Pstrąże area:
- Construction of a road with a bridge from provincial road no. 297 to Pstrąże.
- Reconstruction of the railway bridge to Pstrąże.
The contracting authority’s budget for the project is PLN 77,940,062.10 gross, and the works are estimated to take approximately five years.
