On Saturday, 9 August, Twardy Świętoszów’s senior team played their second-round match in the fourth division. After the opening defeat, the team travelled to face Polonia Środa Śląska determined to claim all three points.
The match began with Twardy taking the lead. Artur Derkach scored in the 13th minute. The 1–0 scoreline held until half-time. After the break, the hosts managed to equalise through a goal by Bartosz Serkies (55th minute).
When it seemed that the match would end in a draw, Twardy scored the decisive goal in stoppage time. It was scored by Patryk Moczała. Thus, the football sayings proved true: the game is played until the end or until the ball is in play...
The final score, 2–1 to Twardy Świętoszów, means their first victory of the season.
