The incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Modłowa and Cieszkowskiego streets. Three cars collided: a Volkswagen Passat, a Mazda 323 and an Opel Astra. The Mazda driver was leaving Modłowa Street and failed to yield to the Volkswagen Passat driver. The Opel Astra was also damaged in the collision. One person was injured and suffered wounds to the head. The emergency medical team provided assistance at the scene and took the injured person to hospital. Police are establishing the details of the incident.
The intersection of Modłowa and Cieszkowskiego is not considered safe, as speeding cars often enter from the direction of Kruszyn. Drivers need to be careful, especially on a rainy day like today.

According to police findings, the Mazda driver was responsible for the collision. The driver was leaving a minor road and failed to yield to the Volkswagen driver. One person was slightly injured in Wednesday's collision. The Mazda driver was fined PLN 500.
