In Bolesławiec, a city known for its centuries-old ceramics tradition, a new feature reflecting its identity has been created. A mural depicting a teapot and cup decorated with characteristic Bolesławiec stamps has appeared on the façade of a building on Zgorzelecka Street—in a place passed by hundreds of drivers every day.
The location is not accidental—it is one of the main routes into and out of the city toward Zgorzelec, right by the roundabout next to the bridge and national road no. 94, which serves as Bolesławiec’s bypass. The mural is not only aesthetically pleasing but also symbolic—it recalls the rich ceramics tradition for which the region is famous.
Thanks to this initiative, the city gains another artistic dimension that combines local culture with public space. The mural not only delights residents but also attracts the attention of tourists and passers-by, becoming a new, recognizable landmark on the map of Bolesławiec.
