As reported by the State Fire Service District Headquarters in Bolesławiec:
On July 28, 2025, at 5:38 p.m., the command post of the District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec received a report of a collision involving four passenger cars on a section of the DK94 bypass.
And adds: – A total of seven people were travelling in the vehicles. Before the emergency services arrived, an off-duty firefighter, Senior Firefighter Patryk Woźny from the State Fire Service District Headquarters in Bolesławiec, was already providing assistance to the injured at the scene. He made an initial assessment of the situation, notified the appropriate emergency services and provided qualified first aid.
The uniformed services:
The tasks carried out by the fire protection units included:
securing the scene,
gaining access to the injured,
providing qualified first aid and supporting the emergency medical teams,
receiving the Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter,
removing leaks of operating fluids,
supporting the police in their investigative activities.
As a result of the accident, several people were seriously injured; one of them was transported by air.
The following took part in the operation:
- 3 units from the Bolesławiec Rescue and Firefighting Unit
- 2 units from the Volunteer Fire Service in Warta Bolesławiecka
- 4 emergency medical teams
- Polish Medical Air Rescue
- 4 police patrols
- the road administrator.
The Bolesławiec uniformed services conclude: – We thank all the services for their efficient and coordinated efforts.
