The July session of the Bolesławiec County Council is under way. Before the proceedings began, however, Bolesławiec County Executive Tomasz Gabrysiak spoke:
Department Head Ewa Rendecka-Woch is with us; today is her last day at work. From tomorrow, she will be a happy retiree. I do not need to introduce Ms Ewa to you, because for many, many years and under several county executives, she has been the face of all the most important investments carried out by Bolesławiec County. These investments were made possible thanks to her personal commitment and effective management of the Department of Investments and Public Procurement and all its staff, all the employees working there.
He added: – On my own behalf, since I have had the pleasure of working with Ms Ewa for the past nine years, I wanted to sincerely thank her, because she was always a voice of reason when planning our investment budgets, always shared her professional expertise, and all our colleagues and everyone involved in the investment process knew that they could always count on her. She was always a stabilizing influence, calming emotions, because sometimes carrying out investments also involves various problems.
Officials said farewell to the department head with a bouquet of flowers. We also learned the name of the new head. From tomorrow, Marzena Klementowska will take over the duties of head of the Department of Investments and Public Procurement at the District Office in Bolesławiec.
